KlavierSpiel will publish articles here aimed at all levels of ability with an emphasis on those habits and characteristics which lead to a natural and comfortable relationship with the instrument and a thorough understanding of music as an art form.    KlavierSpiel will feature a different work in each issue, and the following regular departments will use that work as a point of departure to investigate the world of music from its unique perspective. It is our belief that,whatever your artistic medium - sculpture, dance, literature or playing the piano - training must take place on three broad fronts: The mental, the physical, and the spiritual. Vladimir Horowitz put it another way. "Without brains you are a fiasco. Without means you are an amateur. Without heart you are a machine."
