The Electric Flyers Only, Inc.

The EFO was started in February of 1988. We are in our 17th year as an AMA chartered club (#2354). It is our purpose and goal to educate people about using electrically powered R/C aircraft and to enjoy the friendship of building and flying electrically powered models. Our meetings are held at various area flying fields through the summer and usually Ken's house in the winter. Check the latest issue of the Ampeer for location, date and time. For information call Ken Myers 810.679.3238 or e-mail Ken at KMyersEFO@aol.com

We Could Use Your Help!

We need a flying site. If anyone knows of a site we might use near Walled Lake, Novi, Northville, Milford or Wixom, please contact Ken via e-mail. It could be public or private, and of course, with e-power, neighborhood relations should NOT be a problem, but we do need a "SAFE" overfly area.

The Mid-America Electric Flies

Every year, the EFO combines forces with the Ann Arbor Falcons to present the 3rd largest all-electric meet in the country.
This year, 2005, the dates for the meet will be July 9 & 10. Once again, we expect fliers and their planes from all over the USA and Canada to participate. It will be held at the great Midwest R/C Society field, on 5 Mile Rd., in Northville Twp., which is near Plymouth, MI.
For almost two decades, the Falcons and EFO have been hosting this very popular event, and thanks to the Midwest R/C Society, they continued to do so!

To view some of the happenings at the 1999 Mid-America Electric Flies in Northville Twp., Michigan, click the image. It is the 1999 Mid-Am, even though the graphic says 1997. I just wanted to keep the graphic. I like it!
