Our military garments are made to the specifications of the Quartermaster's Department.  You will see both machine sewing and an extensive amount of handsewing, including handworked buttonholes throughout our garments. Hand Sewn Reproduction BASE BALLS  Our early one-piece (lemon peel design) leather base balls have been reproduced in construction, weight & color according to the original specs of the 19th century. These accurate reproductions are available in two sizes: 9" (1850-early 1860's) and 10" (1860's to 1870's). Although the base ball changed sizes many times throughout the 19th century, we chose to offer two of the more popular early base balls used prior to the glove.
