The Caramel Colored Kings Photograph and Image Archive contains some of the rarest and most unique photographs, prints and newspaper photocopies of black prizefighters ever gathered in one collection. Because I often receive emails requesting both information and photographs of many of the fighters on this site, I decided to make my collection available to the public for purchase. I am not selling original items from my collection, but rather offering high quality laser copy reproductions.
Some of the images in the the archive are brilliant originals. Others are merely poor copies from old newspapers. I have devised the key below to explain the rating system I use to grade the images. Some images are available in JPEG format also(easy to email). Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Also, if you are looking for a specific black fighter who fought between the years 1810 - 1930 who is not listed, please contact me---I probably have a picture somewhere and just haven't listed it.

E: Excellent
G: Good
F: Fair
P: Poor
