Sunspun Shelties

Sunspun Shelties is located in Southwest Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. It is a young kennel. I started in obedience in 1988. In 1994 I discovered the breed ring, and was given the opportunity to co-own a beautiful puppy.

Here at Sunspun I strive to produce sound, healthy puppies that will be good companion, performance and or show dogs. I breed to meet the AKC standards that were set by the American Shetland Sheepdog Association.

The dogs are certified by a Veterinarian Opthomologist (CERF). At after one year their hips are x-rayed for Hip Dysplasia (Prelim) and when they are two or older they are officially OFA'd to clear them of Hip Dysplasia. They are also cleared of thyroid problems .

My pet puppies are sold on a LIMITED REGISTRATION. If at any time the owner(s) of my puppies can no longer keep them, I will take them back and place them or keep them.

I am a current member of the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Southeast Florida, the Mid- Florida Shetland Sheepdog Club and the Dog Obedience Club of Hollywood. As of May 2000 I am a proud member of the American Shetland Sheepdog Association.
