About the Ensemble
Mimbre y Vareta: The twigs and willow branches used in traditional gypsy basketweaving. Like a strong basket, flamenco song and dance have carried the music of Andalucia to the concert hall and international stage. This unique ensemble of musicians, dancers, and singers retains the power that is the core of flamenco and binds it together into a newly woven basket.
