What classes are offered?
TRADITIONAL SHAOLIN KUNG-FU
Kung-Fu has three parts, mental physical and spiritual in it's art. in Kung-Fu all techniques and movements come from animals and nature, and Kung-Fu has everything, legs and arms striking, pressure points, hands, elbows, self defense, breathing art like tai chi, it's a combination of all the martial arts. In Kung-Fu you will learn forms. In a time when many are attracted to short cuts which de-emphasize traditional forms of training, Master Mehrdad is a staunch advocate of their value. Through forms, the human body is stretched and strengthened in an incredible variety of ways. Form training produces stamina, stimulates circulation, improves respiration, and benefits every joing and muscle in the body, activating the body from head to toe. Forms are simply the most rigorous exercise possible. Just think of a self-contained Nautilus course the size of your own body. If you were locked in a cell with no barbells, no treadmill, no bicycle, no gym to go to, you could still remain in top physical condition by doing the forms. Forms are the soul of Kung-Fu. The forms express the Shaolin respect for the beauty of the world, the spirit of the animals and a search for inner harmony. The forms are a shorthand of all Shaolin knowledge, handed down for 2,000 years.
When a person trains in the forms, he is training in the basics of physical endurance, speed, strength, flexibility, concentration and attitude. Forms train the martial artist's body to react automatically so that in combat his brain is free to focus on the adversary, and forms insures that the practitioner will-have the strength and stamina to go up against another person. Until you master the forms, until they are instinctive, like walking, you can't really apply fighting techniques to the fullest. Forms give you a guideline in which to position yourself in combat.
Stances, angles, technique properly applied, arm contact, leg contact, strength, speed and endurance, and combinations to put all these together for fighting application, make form training all essential factor in your personal self defense.
The inventors of Kung-Fu were Taoist and Buddhist monks, who created Kung-Fu in line with their three part being - The physical, mental and spiritual. When you first learn Kung-Fu, you concentrate on the physical techniques. Then gradually, you achieve the mental aspect, the focus of the mind, the questions of persistence and mental toughness, and that's the body and mind working together.

Today, many martial arts teach self-defense techniques. But, only parts of the body are used. Hap Ki Do uses the entire body in a continuous, flowing way. Hap Ki Do is rich in self-defense techniques. With more than 5,000 techniques, you can use different techniques for different situations.
It is a system of dynamic and flowing body movements, couples with complete awareness of the mind. Kept secret for many generations, it was revealed to the rest of the world after the Second World War.
Hap Ki Do is a counter-attack technique of self-defense based
on understanding the biological kinetics of the human body. Therefore,
the fast and slow movements of blood flow and breathing of the
body are the foundation upon which five thousand techniques were
developed. As you start learning these techniques you will become
aware of the numerous vital points in the body, enabling you to
quickly find them in you ropponent and utilize his force of attack
to your advantage to counter-attack. By applying one decisive
blow to this unguarded vital points you can immediately render
him helplessly immobile. The most important and basic advantage
of Hap Ki Do lies in the fact that its techniques enable you to
