Training Seminars, Certifications & Performance Events


The Bachbett Kennels facility hosts a number of different training and performance events, including training seminars, schutzhund trials, police K-9 training and certification trials, agility trials, CGC and TDI testing, and fun matches in obedience, agility and conformation showing.  Our beautiful 250 acre site is located just north of La Crosse, Wisconsin.

WORKING DOG SEMINARS

Above, Frau Stoerring, (far right), a working trial judge and seminar giver from Germany, demonstrates a retrieving exercise during a seminar held in conjunction with the United States Boxer Association's Working Boxer of the Year Trial, which has been hosted by Bachbett Kennels several years, and will again take place at our facility in October of 2008.

Below, during his training seminar, Dennis Bauer , also from Germany, demonstrates the heeling work of his dog Areck, which has helped the team win both the World and German National Championships for Boxers.  Perticipants from all over the U.S., with a variety of working breeds, attended this Bauer seminar, one of several Bachbett Kennels has sponsored with this world class trainer.

POLICE K-9 TRAINING, SALES, SEMINARS, AND ANNUAL CERTIFICATION TRIALS

K-9 handlers work under the direction of United States Police Canine Association judge and trainer, Kirby Livingston, during a police K-9 seminar at Bachbett Kennels.

AGILITY TRIALS AND MATCHES

 

Two teams run the courses at agility matches held at Bachbett Kennels.  Agility trials held under USA-BOX's FCI style regulations have also been sponsored by Bachbett Kennels.

SCHUTZHUND WORKING DOG TRIALS

Above, Al Govednik, President of the American Working Dog Federation (AWDF), receives a congratulatory handshake from schutzhund judge Floyd Wilson, after successfully titling two of his German Shepherds at an all breed schutzhund trial at our facility.

Below, some schutzhund trial participants pose for a group picture at the United States Boxer Association Working Boxer of the Year National Championship in 2003.  This national trial will be held at our facility in 2008 as well.

FUN MATCHES, TRACKING DOG CERTIFICATION, CANINE GOOD CITIZEN/THERAPY DOG TESTS, AND MORE!!
