George Markos and his now deceased Boxer Grobi vom Hafen, BH, SchH3, FH2, ZTP, AD. Grobi was the first Boxer in America to earn the most advanced schutzhund tracking title, the FH2.
George, along with wife Cathy Hubert Markos, are Bachbett Kennels' schutzhund and Police K-9 trainers.

Was member of the first team to represent the United States at the Atibox World Boxer Working Championship in the Czech Republic in 2004.
Has studied handler and decoy training with top American and European K9 trainers, including William Kulla, Richard and Ingrid Kornherr, Dennis Bauer, Markus Neutz, Randy Rhodes
Students under his direction have earned schutzhund, Police K9, and tracking titles
Has served as tracklayer and/ or decoy for numerous working dog trials, including national championships
The first person to ever compete at the SchH3 DVG National Championship with a Boxer
Canine seminar and workshop presenter
Judge for police canine certification tests
Travels to Europe regularly for dog related events, to acquire working dogs, and to study training techniques
Breeder of working German Boxers under the kennel name of “von Bachbett”
