If you're interested
in adoption, read my new My Shelf Review for The Ultimate Insider’s
Guide to Adoption by Elizabeth Swire Falker (Warner Wellness, November 14,
2006, ISBN
0446697303). Elizabeth
Swire Falker, an attorney
who specializes in adoptions, has written an informative and up-to-date book
that provides everything an aspiring parent needs to know about the steps
required in becoming an adoptive parent. She’s interspersed the information
with wonderful touches of humor that also make this book a fun read. You can read my full review
at MyShelf.
An absolute must-read
book on adoption is The Marvelous Journey Home by John M.
Simmons. The story tells of little Katya and her adoption from
a Russian orphanage. While the book is a work of fiction, this
tender story itself is based on the author's International
adoption experience. A tender, heartwarming story that will bring
joy to your heart, this is a definite must read! For this and
more works by John M. Simmons, visit: www.whiteknightpublish.com.
