Lack of Neighborhood Council Representation at Licensing Hearing
Kaye Ryan reported that when she attended the licensing hearing for the West Roxbury Pub and Restaurant there was no one from the Mayors Office to relay the decisions of the Neighborhood Council. Fortunately Kaye Ryan was attending, and able to provide the Neighborhood Councils’ recommendation for approval.
Council members were upset that their work and decisions on the licensing issue may have gone unrecognized. The Neighborhood Council expects a representative from the Mayors Office of Neighborhood Relations be present at future hearings to relay the Councils’ decisions. In addition, the Council will mail a review of the proceedings and their decisions directly to the Licensing and Zoning Boards.
The West Roxbury Neighborhood Council will NOT meet in December.
