I believe we will know the coming of Eorgina when the grey moon burns red. I have seen it a few times in my life and prayed beyond hope it was her crossing, but it was not.- Azaer

Eorgina- Queen of Darkness

Eorgina is a powerful sorceress, possessed with the powers of demonic magick, and blessed with the title, Queen of Darkness. She is physically quite beautiful, with grey steely skin, eyes that are almost black  (unless she is doing magick or in the demonic state, in which case they are a bright, burning, glowing red) and long ebony hair. When she is "entertaining" guests she will wear her hair up in a high elaborately knotted style, otherwise she keeps it loose. In modern depictions, she wears a gown of deep claret velvet tied at the waist with an ebon black chord, and a multitude of gem-laden silver jewelry. When she is in public, on the mortal plane, she will wear a long, hooded black cloak, which hides her face nicely.

Despite her youthful looks, Eorgina is quite old. She was originally a wisp of spirit enslaved to one of the great drakes, perhaps the strongest of the drakes, as she is so powerful herself.. After the drake died (some stories insinuating that Eorgina had a hand in the death herself) she became independent. She was the cruelest, most evil and most cunning of the newly freed spirits.

Eorgina hid from the sunlight for the next several thousand years, gathering power from the sacrifices of those few mortals aware of her presence and from the bloodshed occuring in the Lands. Her magick increased, until it was the most powerful that had ever existed in such a form. This magick attracted the attentions of other spirits, and those of similar depth and desire joined under her. Though they do not often work cohesively in day to day (or year to year, or eon to eon) life, this Pantheon of Lornon is loosely unified in their goals. Eorgina, as the strongest, proclaimed herself Queen of the Darkness, Ruler of the Pantheon. None have yet arisen to dispute or wrest that title from her.

Her followers are extremely loyal to her, but it is, in a sense, a false loyalty, for Eorgina allows very little, if any, free and inconsequential action from her devotees.  She will often 'test' the their loyalty  (and they will usually obey her without question). She will  torture, physically, mentally, and emotionally, those who insult her, even if it was not intentional. Eorgina is utterly disdainful of  practioners of good magick, and good people in general. When she wants to, she can act (quite realistically) so kind, modest, and good it is quite difficult, if not impossible to believe that she is as vain, cruel, and evil as she is.

Her great weakness is the same thing that gives her power- her drive. Eorgina, even with all of the powers at her disposal, is not content to rule only the Lornon pantheon. She covets firstly the seat at Lord Koar's side, and secondly his seat in entirety. To acheive these goals, however, the followers of the Lady of the Grey Moon work to overthrow the goddess Lumnis. It is  not until Lumnis is banished and disincorporated that the plans of Eorgina will be met with any fruition.
