Part Drow - Part Demon
Makes Her Mother A Saint!

At four years old, Trinity is already the strong but feminine enigma that is all too representative of her parental genes. If RhyDin considered Tevin and Eldy to be adept fighters and able troublemakers, they must have balked at the thought of their offspring. How delighted they'll be to find that their worries were not premature or unnecessary...

Trinity Leriel Alchemy has already developed a mesmerizing personality that is a striking combination of her mother's and her own. Perhaps it is that mother-daughter bond, perhaps it is the blood of her Drow heritage; for whatever reason, Eldy's youngest daughter shares the independent will, headstrong spirit, and charming wit that her mother is so famous for. This is not to say that there is none of her father in her — take one look at those black wings — but in essence, her resemblance to Eldy is breathtaking, a fact that should not only make her mother proud, but also make her mother a bit worried!

Curious to no end, Trinity is a heck of a handful for any adult. Precocious and bemusing, she is highly intelligent and very inquisitive, and she loves learning, no matter what the subject. Too young to make use of the library, she asks questions about anything and everything she is curious about. If the adult she's asking doesn't provide her with a suitable answer, or doesn't have an answer, the determined Trinity will do her best to find an answer herself — a trait that almost always leads to trouble. The gears in her young mind are forever turning. Trinity is the kind of child that is so interested in learning, you buy her a chemistry set then curse the day you got that brilliant idea when you find she's blown up her bedroom.

Very active, Trinity adores playing with Zachary, who is not only her twin brother but also her closest friend. There are no Teletubbies in RhyDin, and there is no Elmo, so little children have to make their own fun. (Somebody let me know if I'm wrong, if Sesame Street and the Tubbies do, in fact, air in RhyDin.) Accident-prone and unintentionally addicted to mischief, trouble is inevitable with this Terrible Twosome in the picture. "Oops!", "It wasn't me!", and "Uh-oh!" are phrases that Eldy and Tevin constantly hear chiming through their halls. Trinity is famous (or perhaps notorious) for breaking fragile items and then attempting to put the pieces back together. "Lookie, I fix it for ilhar!" is usually uttered while Trinity displays the uneven shards of a shattered glass sloppily and unevenly held together by dried mud from the backyard, mommy's nail polish, Zachary's bubblegum, or miles of Scotch tape or, most often, a combination of those items.

She loves stories, no matter who is telling them, or what they're about. She herself has been known to spin a few yarns in her short life, usually when she's gotten into trouble — "But ilhar, I was kiddienapped by dragons, you know!" or "Daddy, was'n me, was the pirates!". Yes, her imagination is both wild and active. But when her tall tales don't get her out of hot water, she turns on her sweet smile, pauses, then sticks out her lower lip and looks down, eyes wide, and holds up four tiny fingers, explaining, "But I only four. Ilhar, usstan quen." This, most often, is followed by a sneak glance up, at which point she holds her little arms out, blinking her wide, innocent eyes. "No hug for Trin'ty?"

Trinity is not always scampering around wreaking havoc in order to satiate her curious mind. She also enjoys bedtime stories from her father, learning bits and pieces of the Drow language from her mother, and listening to both parents tell edited tales of adventures from their pasts. She also loves spending the night at Auntie Sum's big house, because Summer and Jeff are fun babysitters, and not only does Trinity get to play with Serina, Matthew, and Zachary without their parents around, but she gets to play with Charlie, who is, in the words of Trinity herself, "so much fun!"

Trinity looks the part of a young Dark Elf; she has smooth ebon skin, and wide violet eyes that are constantly brimming with curiosity. Her straight white hair is seldom hanging straight, as she's so active. Eldy, most mornings, puts it in pigtails or braids. While Trinity owns plenty of pretty clothes, kids will be kids, and when you're Trinity Alchemy, you attract dust like a magnet. Overalls, t-shirts, and sleeveless shirts comprise most of Trinity's wardrobe. She also fervently and constantly informs her mother, "Ilhar, I wanna wear pink boxy shorts!" every time she returns from a night with the Oakenshields.

There are several sides to Trinity; she can be quiet, she can be very loud, she can be active, she can prefer to curl up on the couch and sing to herself. But most of what Trinity does earns her a reaction of some kind. She's very demanding, and wants what she wants, when she wants it, the way she wants it. She no longer throws the wailing tantrums she used to when she was two, but she still pouts, though with her short attention span, she often forgets to pout after a few minutes, when something else captures her focus. She is enthralled with the magical know-how of her parents, and is determined to one day be as powerful as they. She loves her parents very much, and loves to give them presents but remember, she's only four, so the mall isn't an option for her. In the past, Trinity's presents for Tevin have included a handful of wildflowers, a rock that she squashed a bug with, a chocolate chip cookie, and a potato she excitedly jumped up and down over, screeching and giggling about how much it looked like Matthew. Her gifts to Eldy have included a pretty seashell, a fistful of freshly unearthed worms, a single plaid sock she rescued from some random clothesline, and a sparrow with a broken wing found near the house, whose name, apparently, was Fred. According to Trinity, that is. ("That's his name, ilhar, cos that's wha he said his name was. 'Ki keep him if you don' wan'im?")
