Little-Known Literaries

Welcome to our site dedicated to authors who are not widely read, but deserve to be. This is likely to be the only place on the Web where you will find this much information about the authors and their books. If you are visiting for the first time, we invite you to read our site's FAQ before proceeding.

Welcome to the little-known authors page created by Andrew Martin, Patty Rettig, and Leah Sparks! We created this site in December 1996 as graduate students in the College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland at College Park. This page was created as a group project for LBSC 690, "Information Technology."

Patty is now an archivist at Colorado State University, while Leah is a writer-editor in Washington, D.C.

We have each included several favorite authors who are either barely mentioned elsewhere on the Web or not mentioned at all. If you have not yet read more about our site, we urge you to do so now. You will find out how to navigate our site, how to search the Web for your own favorite authors, and how to build a similar page and link it to ours.

If you have comments or suggestions about this main page, e-mail Leah Sparks at LeahJ@aol.com
