Notes: This old Keshan Persian rug displays the biblical story of Moses after he was born. From what I understand it shows the mother of Moses placing him on the Nile river so that the Pharao's can not capture her son. I'm no expert so if you know something that I don't, please feel free to let me know. The rug is in excellent condition and has no wear. It was purchased from a collector many years ago who took very good care of it. The discoloring of the colors is further proof of the age, which is common in very old rugs since the dyes used were made of vegetables and plants.
