Notes: This old Tabriz rug has a silk foundation, which is very rare in old large Persian rugs. The quality is just amazing considering the old age and it is in great condition. The center of the Persian rug features the ancient Persian story of the businessman and his donkey. The rest of the Persian rug depicts pictures of ruins of the city ancient capital city of Persia, Persepolis and the borders show the crowns of the old Persian Shah. Personally, I like the colors of this one and it is just perfect for a large open room or a wall.
