We have been conducting extensive research on the Horsewood surname and are looking for any persons who may be able to provide additional information to expand our efforts. Our History
To date we have researched back to Lincoln County, England to a William Horsewood b.1820 who married a Sophia Walton. The Horsewood's resided around the areas of Kirkby upon Bain, Horncastle, Roughton, Woodhall Spa, Thornton near the Horncastle Canal.
We know that some of our ancestors came to Canada while others went to the Untied States living in the North Eastern region of Indiana and Northern Ohio areas early on where many relatives still live today.
