Christmas Wreath (Ornament, Fridgie or Napkin Ring)

Materials: Dark green crochet cotton thread, size 10, 2" ring, red or burgandy 1/4" ribbon, steel

crochet hook size 10

Size: about 3"

Rnd 1: Work 81 sc around ring. Join with a sl st to first sc. 81 sc.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining; (ch 4, skip nx sc, sc in nx sc) 39 times; ch 1, dc in first sc to

form last loop- 40 loops.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in last loop (around dc); *ch 1, skip nx loop [trc, ch 3, sc in the top of the last trc

for picot (4 times), trc, ch 1] in nx loop; skip nx loop; sc in nx loop* Repeat from * to * 8 times;

ch 1, skip next loop (trc, ch 3, sc in the top of the last trc for picot) 4 times, trc, ch 1, join with a

sl st to first sc - 10 shells. finish off.

Finishing: Weave ribbon through round 2, going over and under 2 stitches at a time. Add a small bow.

To make an ornament: add a loop of ribbon for hanging. To make a magnet: glue a magnet to the

back. My favorite: Use as is for a napkin ring
