Look-Alikes Look-Alikes

I swear people are always saying they know a dog who looks just like me. I hear that old man of mine did get around. My new "little sis" Coco is a pound puppy like me so it just could be. We're having fun pretending anyway. She's pretty cute for a shrimp, don'tcha think :) Goes to show you where the very bestest beasties can be found and believe me, we're all the more loyal in appreciation of our rescue.

Coco!!, you little shrimp! I have been looking everywhere for you!! We look enough alike to be sisters and Mom said Dad wasn't hunting fire hydrants when he was out all night! My cousins, Buster and Sidney (see Best Friends link below) said you were looking for me. I almost jumped on the computer when I saw your picture! Here I am!!!

Dear Casper,
WOW! What a surprise to hear from my "twin" sister. You are right - we sure do look alike. They say that everyone has a double, and I think you are mine. What kind of doggie are you? When my folks adopted me in 1992, the lady at the shelter said I was a poodle. But ... when I had my hair cut, I really didn't look that much like a poodle anymore!!! So then they decided that I am at least half bichon. I just turned "six" on the 18th of March - how old are you? I am a sturdy little thing - even tho Miss Lib called me a shrimp. I weigh about 9 lb. and my folks are always watching what I eat. My "Dad" says I remind him of the little tough kid on the playground at school. I am always barking at the other dogs that go by our house (from the safety of the living room natch), but when I meet them on the street, it's another story - heh ... heh. Sometimes I hide behind Dad's feet until I am sure it's a friend. I live in Virginia - how about you? Wondering how much of a "traveling man" our Daddy was.
