Free Annual Zarnow Concert- Sunday, August 25, 2002 at 7:00 p.m.

Spend the evening strolling down memory lane as we pay tribute to our dear friend and
legend, Ralph Zarnow.

Torah Restoration Campaign-

Our number one fundraising drive is our Torah Restoration Project. We are attempting to
raise $40,000 to reapir our 8 Torah scrolls. (The cost of buying just one new one is
approximately $40,000.) We have currently raised $5,000. Please help us keep building
those numbers until we reach $40,0000!! Donations may be sent to Beth El Jacob

Special Commemorative Tisha B'av Service- July 18, 2002 at 9:00 a.m.

The fast day of Tisha B'av is on Wednesday night July 17, 2002 through Thursday night
July 18, 2002. The fast ends at 9:35 p.m. We will be holding a special commemborative
service on Tisha B'av morning, July 18th at 9:00 a.m. The service will be a moving encounter
in which we will revisit some of the more painful travels throughout Jewish exile.
