Resources for Short Fiction

Visitors to this page may be particularly interested to know about the existence of a book entitled Short Fiction: A Critical Companion, edited by Robert C. Evans, Anne C. Little, and Barbara Wiedemann.  (For more information, look here.)  The volume includes a lengthy introduction to various kinds of literary interpretation, then offers detailed summaries of critical articles on nearly forty of the most noted English-language short stories.  The book also includes specific applications (written by students themselves) of the various theories to one narrative in particular: Kate Chopin's "The Story of an Hour."  Finally, the volume concludes with a lengthy topical index.

PROFITS FROM SALES OF THIS BOOK BENEFIT STUDENT PROJECTS AND SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS AT AUBURN UNIVERSITY AT MONTOMERY.
