Livingston Chess Club is the oldest established chess club in West Lothian.
The club meets every Monday in the Harvester, Cameron Way, Livingston between 7.00pm and 10.30pm, September to June.
As you can see, the club has a friendly atmosphere and our members are all very friendly - though perhaps not always as glamorous as in this photo!
The club has been strengthened with the return of two well known faces - Ian McLean, previously of Sandy Bell’s, and former club champion, Simon Kellett, returning from the now defunct Standard Life. The games section features some of Ian’s best games from recent months and Simon returned with a bang in the league match against Gorgie Dalry - check out his Queen sac!
We compete in the Edinburgh Chess League and have just finished runners up in Division 1 having won Division 2 last season.
