Village announces nominees for annual business awards This year marks the 13th anniversary of the Village of Lombard Business Recognition Awards, an annual awards presentation sponsored by the village in cooperation with the Lombard Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry. With a record number of nominees received this year, the nominees are as follows: Property Stewardship Award-Awarded to a business that has impeccably maintained its buildings and/or landscape. Nominees: 2505 S. Finley Road/Pritchett Realty; 949 S. Main St., Dr. Norman Mills, D.D.S.; Beverly Properties/Westmore Apartments; Dr. Michael Colletti, D.D.S.; Lombard Body and Fender; Thomas J. Masterson and Co.; and White Castle. Major Milestone Award-Awarded to a business that has demonstrated technology development, new products or growth. Nominees: Bella Ink Designs; Bob Long/Yorktown Mall; Chicago Soy Dairy; Kennedy Graphics; LG Electronics, Inc.; and Shell Oil/930 E. Roosevelt Road. Business Pride Award-Awarded to a business representing the finest example of a successful, responsible company. Property Improvement Award-Awarded to a business that has shown striking improvement to existing or vacant properties. Nominees: 1919 S. Jim Bell Distinguished Developer Award Awarded to a developer of a high quality project within the community. Customer Service Award-Awarded to a business that has demonstrated exceptional customer service.
