Tara's page/About Me

My name is Tara Luciania DiLoreto, and I would like to tell you a little about myself. I was born on Sept. 21, 1978 in Manchester,CT. I have dark brown hair and greenish-brown eyes. I love music, all kinds, and I love to sing. I have a great family, and a lot of great friends.

The reason for my page is to have a little information on the web for my Freestyle fans , my family and my friends. For as long as I can remember, I have loved to sing. All through grammar school and high school, I participated in the choir and Madrigal singers. In my senior year of high school, I had the lead role of Maria in "The Sound of Music". I loved performing and singing in the play, and one day, I hope to participate in more plays or on Broadway.

My friends knew I loved to sing , and I was always singing to the songs on the radio. One day, one of my friends told me about a guy he knew who was also a singer, and whose brother had a management company. So, I met up with the brothers, Jeff and Elvis Vega, and sang for them. Jeff and I wrote my first song, "Waiting for your love", and I was picked up by PRYME TYME/X-ESS RECORDS. I would like to thank Elvis and Jeff Vega for helping me get my start.

The song was put on the compilation album AMERICA'S MOST WANTED DANCE. Since then I have had three more songs put on compilation CD's for PRYME TYME /X-ESS RECORDS. "Wondering", written by my mother, was put on FREESTYLE A NEW DIMENSION IN TYME. "I'll be there for you", written by Artie Rodriguez, and sung by Artie and me, was put on FREESTYLE A NEW DIMENSION IN TYME VOL. 2.

My third song, my venture into the dance music scene, "Give me the strength" was written by my mother and put on AMERICA'S MOST WANTED DANCE VOL. 2.I am currently working on my first album, which will include freestyle, dance and pop music. Most of the songs have been written by my Mom and produced by Artie Rodriguez. Artie is a great producer and has helped me to get to where I am now. Thanks Artie! Love ya!! :-)

I would also like to thank Mike Lunn and Dennis Ciallela of PRYME TYME/X-ESS RECORDS for picking me up and giving me my chance. And, while I'm at it, Thanks Mom and Dad for standing behind me and helping me fulfill my dreams. Also thanks to all my aunts and uncles and my grandparents, my brother, his friends, my friends, Elyssa, Denise, Abby and Lisa- I love you guys!! :-) and that awesome guy up there for pushing me along and being my biggest fans.

I love you all!!!!! :-)

Here is a little update on what I am currently working on. I am still performing shows whenever I get the opportunity. My most current shows will be posted on the main page of my site. I have just finished working with two new producers , Willie Valentin and Randy Taylor-Weber. Willie produced my latest song, "Don't be angry", and Randy Taylor-Weber did a mix of the song. I am also excited, waiting for the the Santana Twins to finish the mixes for a song they have written for me. They will be putting it out and selling it as a single. I also have a couple of other projects I am working on in other music areas that I am very excited about!! Keep checking back for updates.

This is me and my Mom, she didn't want her pic on the site, but I wanted it, so
she hid it down here.
