This page outlines a true story, the story of a modern-day Christine Daae, a contemporary girl who was touched by the spirit of song, changed forever by the power of music.
Maybe to you it sounds unrealistic, a fantasy spun by a young woman with a computer and too much free time on her hands, but I implore you to believe me. The tale of the Phantom of the Opera is a story about a man and a girl, sure, but it is also about the magic of music, the universal language that binds all of us, no matter what our background, together. Whatever mystery and intrigue the story holds for us, the real magic is in the song.
A Modern-Day Christine Daae
It sounds silly, I know, but I beseech you to trust me. I believe in the tale of the Phantom so completely because I can relate to it with my heart and soul. It changed my life forever, in ways I can only begin to describe. I, like the fictional Christine, was blessed by the Angel of Music, though it wasn't in the form of a man.
And so I've created this page, an ode to the musical that turned my world upside down, so that others may share in my experience and possibly live it themselves.
(That is me pictured above in a costume I created by hand based on Christine's blue dress from Act II of the ALW musical...the Phantom is played by my dear friend Josh, a very talented individual. The picture was taken after a concert we presented featuring the music from Phantom.)
If you have any comments, questions, or concerns (such as me unintentionally pirating your graphics), or if you're intrigued by my story and want to offer me a contract (wishful thinking!) feel free to E-Mail me at

Touched by an Angel
A brief narrative about how Phantom changed the order of my life completely and dramatically.
The Shows I've Seen
My compilation of revues of three out of four of the productions I've seen.
The Music Box Tour
Green Bay, WI, 1997
Toronto, 1997
Toronto, 1998
(I saw this production twice within a week of each other, so the revues are sort of combined.)
Phantom Fun
Wacky, Phantom-related, photos of me and my friends.
Opera Photo Album
My rare and unusual (at least to me) image gallery.
A Few Links of Interest
A short list of links to other sites, not very comprehensive, because I'm lazy and there are tons of links pages out there.
The Oft-Neglected Meg Giry
A tribute to one of the most unappreciated characters in Phantom.
I am pleased to say that Candlelight and Moonglow has finally found a permanent home. Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, the original site is still floating around there in cyberspace. So if you're confused to the two webpages that are seemingly the same, that's why. However, I insist that this is the real homepage, and it's better than the first one.
Eventually I hope to get rid of the other one for good, but until I do, bear with me, please.

Please don't steal my graphics!
I have worked long hours scanning or creating from scratch all of the graphics (with the exceptions of the animated candlabra and the Yeston/Kopit Phantom logo) found within my homepages.
If you'd like to use some of them, feel free to take them, as long as you leave a link back to my site somewhere on your page.
Thanks!
