I am LuvDaBeast. This name was chosen based on my love for the television series, "Beauty and the Beast," which aired on CBS from 1987 - 1990. For some still unknown reason I never watched the show during its initial run, but in 1992, "Beauty and the Beast" found me. I was instantly captivated by the richness and beauty that I found in the characters, the themes, the music and the bond that Vincent and Catherine shared.
Vincent and Catherine, Father, and the many other vivid characters led me out of the darkness onto an incredible journey full of hope which has ultimately led me here.
I envision Vincent and Catherine, together, always, for eternity, living their happy life happily ever after.
There was a time where I thought I was all alone in my passion for this show. I discovered online fandom much by accident in March, 1996. By July, I was jetting off to my first convention in Norfolk, VA. I had so much fun I went to the next convention in Minneapolis, the one after that in Virginia Beach, the next one in Orlando and the next in Los Angeles. I'm now looking forward to New York City in July, 2001, Orlando in 2002, San Jose in 2003 and all future conventions. The best part of fandom was discovering that I am not alone in my passion. I will be eternally grateful to all who have made my journey into these tunnels and beyond one of the highlights of my life. You are all so very special to me!
