He married Carrie Bell Tribe August 20, 1901. Carrie was born July 3, 1883 in Sussex, Kings, New Brunswick, Canada. Carrie was the daughter of James Ephraim Tribe and Ellen Price. Carrie died December 26, 1979 in Houston, Harris, Texas, at age 96.⁽⁴¹⁾ Settegast-Kopf Co, 3320 Kirby Drive., interment at South Memorial Park Cemetery.
