He married Carrie Bell Tribe date unknown. Carrie was born February 22, 1902 in Shepherd, San Jacinto, Texas. Carrie was the daughter of William Henry Tribe and Sarah Ethel Beazley. Carrie died September 10, 1975 in Houston, Harris, Texas, at age 73. Her body was interred September1975 in Houston, Harris, Texas.

Walter Kyle Chapman and Carrie Bell Tribe had the following child:
