These are mainly shows documenting the history of the band - and some of them have broadcast rare tracks. As far as we know all the radio shows listed below have been circulated by fans on cassette tape.

"Substance - Part 1: I Remember When We Were Young, The Joy Division story", Radio 1 3rd March 1988  60 Minutes Featured interviews with most of the people associated with the band & Factory, like Rob Gretton, Martin Hannett, Tony Wilson, Peter Saville etc, as well as the remaining band members. There was a second programme about New Order
"The Last Radio Programme", Piccadilly Radio Key 103, presented by Peter Hook 9th June 1990 120 minutes Hooky played the following two JD songs from his own live tapes collection: Leaders Of Men - live Middlesbrough 1978. Wilderness - live at the Lyceum 29 Feb 1980. If anyone can provide any more details about where Leaders of men was recorded please get in touch!
Joy Division special on 'DT64' (East Germany) 18th May 1990 120 minutes Songs included "the usual stuff" including Peel Sessions and 'At a later date' from the Short Circuit. Lots of background information was given. The programme was presented by a radio DJ called Holger Lukas who had previously presented several other special programmes (e.g on SIouxsie) on other radio stations in East Germany. He used to send out transcriptions of his programmes to interested listeners, which was a massive source of information in those days behind the iron curtain.
