Delta Company 1-148 Infantry (Mech)

(OPFOR) M113A3 APC

This April Delta Company was assigned to act as OPFOR at Fort Steward, Georgia.  As part of task force 148 we aggressed the 48th Georgia National Guard "Enhanced" Brigade.  We acted in small, decentralized elements and our operations met with great success.  

3rd Squad, First Platoon Delta Company accounted for 8 kills on M1 Main Battle Tanks.

1st Squad, First Platoon also racked up 2 M1, 2 Bradley, and 2 M113 kills without the benefit of anti-tank weapons.  1 M1 kill was by sniper system by engaging the TC, the Loader, and "Doghouse" sensor equipment rendering the tank all but useless.  First squad also employed mine fields and other obstacles, to draw BLUEFOR Engineers into my (the Sniper's) kill zone.
