              A Tribute to Carrie

6/12/61 - 10/9/98
This website is a labor of love for my daughter, Carrie.     It's a wonderful way to keep her memory alive.  We will always love and miss her and we will never forget her.  We know that she is watching down on her family and friends from her place in heaven.

I'd like to take this opportunity to share my beautiful and talented daughter, Carrie, with the rest of the world.  She would always know what to say when
someone felt pain.  She was always there when someone needed a shoulder to cry on or a hand to be held.  She cared so much for people and it showed in her life, her poems and her songs.

She wanted to share her poems with everyone and that's  why she put some of the words to music so all can hear.  Her foresight has left us a legacy that for those who miss and love her so dearly will always remember her.

I hope that by reading and listening to her music you will know  that she loved life to the fullest.  Carrie felt that everyday  was a  "New Day" and that it was important to take time for the little things in life.  Every new day was the message of "Why Wait?" which was in her opinion, what's wrong with the world today.

There is always the dream of a love in "Not A Dream" and the pain of lost love to a garden of weeds in "The Flower" but through it all there is love waiting for Mr. Right in "Here I Am".

Carrie dedicated "A Mother's Prayer" to her sister, Joanne, who is a  wonderful mother.  Through Joanne's suffering Carrie also dedicated "Let Me Be Your Guardian Angel" to her sister because Carrie didn't like to see the heartache her sister was going through.  Carrie would rather suffer than see her sister suffer through tough times.

She thanked her father and I by honoring us with a song called  "Ode To My Parents".  This song was her way of  thanking us  for the person she is today and for our guidance, without which, she'd be a lost soul.

To her brothers, Danny and Rocky, her family and friends who are  here on earth and to her family and friends who are in heaven  she wrote "True Friendship Never Dies".

To Bernie, her husband of only five months, Carrie wrote the song "Side By Side".   When she let go of her father's hand as he gave her away on her wedding day, she told me that dreams do come true.  Some dreams just take longer and that she was glad she never settled.  She knew now where she belonged.

Please stay for a while and listen to her beautiful music and read her heartfelt words.  I hope they will inspire everyone who reads them that there is a new tomorrow in the "New Day".

Her words and music all came from her  loving heart.  I hope you enjoy them.  If by some chance she touches you in any way then it is worth it.

I hope her words touch your heart and soul and give you peace and tranquility.  When you're feeling sad I hope you feel, as I do, her  arms wrapping around you as she whispers in your ear, "Everything will be OK.  God loves you and we will meet again.  I just went ahead to save a place for you in God's Paradise.  The Best is yet to come".

To her family and friends she wrote, "I love you very much and I'm  not afraid to say it or even sing it because tomorrow may be too late".

To her family and friends I would like to add, that when she left  she didn't go alone.  A part of us went with her.  Her memory and ideas will live on forever.  You will never feel completely alone because a piece of her will always be with us in our hearts.

In our home there is a portrait of a face more precious than gold.  For we who love and lost her, her face will never grow old.  Our hearts still ache in sadness.  Our silent tears still flow.  For what it meant to lose her, God only knows.

There will always be an empty space in my heart,
and in my life.
I miss you with all my heart and will  love you now and forever.

LOVE MOMMY
