Litigators are profoundly aware of the need to use visual images in the modern courtroom. As our culture shifts its focus from verbal to visual communications, judges and juries demand that the facts be presented and illustrated quickly and clearly.

AEC understands the unique need of the legal community to communicate concepts effectively and efficiently for strategy and case arguments. By concentrating on key issues and non-linear (hyper-linked) graphics and animation, we provide a flexible presentation system that builds agreement toward favorable settlement.

Communication by graphic pictorial views is our world's most valuable means of description. Forensic illustration completely defines the case at hand. It uses the fullest integration of computer technology and art. Today's complex multiparty litigation, involving people, property, computers and physics, demands full use of all the newest visual media, from large color courtboards to full multimedia animations.

Computer multimedia demonstrative evidence is a powerful and dramatic means by which to illustrate expert opinions. The AEC forensic graphics specialist should also be involved with the primary investigative team, working closely with police, fire, and medical professionals and insurance adjusters to photograph and document the loss as well as protect and preserve the integrity of all evidence. Case progress can then be monitored through a careful and selective iterative approval process of expert witness graphics at all stages of investigation and presentation, from initial sketches to final trial exhibits.

AEC comes fully prepared to participate in the vital process of litigation. We have worked on hundreds of cases, from small accidents to major international matters involving hundred-million dollar settlements.
