You may wonder how and why we chose the name Palestine Times for our magazine, and what we represent. Our Senior Editor, Mr. Yousuf Al Kazaz, one of the leading Palestinian Media Professional, joined the PLO from it's inception, and worked hand in hand with our Brother Yasser Arafat in his Revolution from ground Zero. I was privileged to meet my friend Yousuf (Abu Tameem) on several occasions. Immediately we both had mutual admiration for our work for our main and only cause. "Palestine"

In 1996, I applied for the official permit to establish this Magazine and the license was approved early 1997. Our team in Palestine consists of many wonderful people, who worked most of their lives to help with many causes related to the cause of Palestine and their roots.

Yousuf is a top Media Professional who provides leadership to our Palestinian Radio and TV Station programming. He is Yasser Arafat's loyal Palestinian media staff in Arafat's Office. His wife (Samia) worked most of her life to help our Palestinian people in areas, which included: Lebanon, Malta, Tunisia. She continues to be an active member of the Palestine Red Crescent Organization.

khairieh Abu Shusheh, (photo) is another Palestine Times family member. She is among the elite Palestinian women who are never able to rest. She was very excited when I told her about the idea of establishing Palestine Times, she agreed to participate with the project immediately. Khairieh, due to her excessive love for Palestine, she has worked hard to cover all major related stories about: Palestinians women, workers, Children, education and the massacres which was carried out by the early Zionist movement in Palestine. She and another so dozen of International and notable Palestinian people, started the "Deir Yassin Memorial Project" which will be remembered in all Palestinian hearts.

I am proud to announce the launch of our Palestine Times, for all Palestinians, Arabs, International friends and those Israelis who chose peace rather war. We will work very hard to cover all issues of importance which concern the public. We will report in a credible, balanced manner that will inform all. We will not be biased toward any one. Our support will be our public supporters. We believe in a democratic approach to our people. The people and the readers will be the judge of our work.
