I have an interesting dagger that you might like to feature in this series. It is a 5 Ball Geo naval officer's Dirk c 1800, straight tapering diamond section blade 14" adapted from a 17th century transitional rapier blade, signed in fuller "Tomas Daila". Copper gilt mounts, crosspiece with 5-ball side loop octagonal pommel, and fluted ivory grip. GC (blade age patina) gilt worn, small line crack to grip.
