Point Of View

A mere flicker
In the vastness of space /
A large solar system,
Home to the human race;
Tiny, insignificant
Island in a sea of stars /
Gigantic planets
With asteroidal scars;
Small blue planetoid,
With an atmosphere /
A world so large,
Known as two hemispheres;
Many life forms with prolific penchants /
Six subspecies with immoral sentience;
Humanity leaping with each discovery /
Depleting resources, from which there's no recovery;
I wonder wherein reality lies?
