Babylon 5

...and so it begins!
I have never seen why so many people have to line up into camps on the subject of
Babylon 5 versus Star Trek. They are both excellent shows. I am pleased that at last
Babylon 5 is beginning to get the attention it deserves. If you haven't the faintest idea
what I'm on about in the first place- look on further to peer into the Babylon 5 universe.
The Place

The Captains

Other Station Personnel

Telepaths
Telepaths are not something to be treated lightly in this century. They are
used in business to check on the veracity of those taking part in agreements,
in police investigations, to aid witnesses memory & various other ways.
Telepaths are useful but mistrusted. No telepath is licenced to operate
unless they are members of Psi Corps.
The Psi Cops are ever vigilant, to make sure that there are no 'blips' ( Unlicenced Telepaths)
about. If you are a telepath your options are limited. You can join the Corps, go to prison, or
take drugs to inhibit your psi ability- drugs with dreadful side effects! They do have their uses
though.

The Alien Sector
The aliens on Babylon 5 play an integral part in the story - but as
G'kar says, "No one here is exactly who they seem....."
The Minbari

The Centauri

The Narn
The Vorlons

The Rangers

The Enemy

Much later Morden asks Vir what he wants. Vir says he would like to see
Morden's head on a pike. To serve as a warning to future generations, that
some favours come at too high a price!

Babylon 5 is the creation of J. M. Straczynski. We owe a huge debt of
thanks to the 'Great Maker' for the creation of this fascinating universe.
