Welcome to the First Parish in Malden!

If your religious journey has you feeling a little weary or confused, come meet a group of warm and welcoming people who can help you find a new direction and purpose. We're the First Parish in Malden, a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association. One of Malden and Everett's oldest religious communities, we have some very fresh ideas for spiritual growth and learning.

We affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person, every couple, and every family.

We believe that we are all endowed by God with minds to think and hearts to love.

We gather in community to help every person, young and old alike, discover and use their unique talents, experiences, and gifts.

We support and nurture each person's spiritual journey and search for meaning.

We reach out to the larger world to provide community service and advocate for justice.

First Parish in Malden is a liberal religious community, rooted deeply in the Christian tradition while branching out to all of the great religions of the world. As Unitarian Universalists, we're committed to a living tradition that is relevant, pragmatic, and faithful. We affirm and promote religious and moral values based on respect, mutuality, and loving-kindness. Different people. Different beliefs. One faith.

If you're looking for a religious home for yourself, yourself and your spouse or partner, or your entire family -- the congregation of the First Parish in Malden welcomes you!
