The Mystery Road Trip Weekend Brewery is a homebrewing operation that was originally founded on 3 July 1992 by myself (Richard "Manimal" Brant) and Tom "Kickstand" Spence. We started the brewery with the intention of making really cool beers with funny names. The names for our beers come from that which is known as the Mystery Road Trip Weekend Tape, a video tape that contains close to two hours of silliness. Notable quotes and events are taken from the tape and applied to our beers as somewhat strange and silly names.
Since our founding, Mr. Spence has moved out of town and the bottle capping duties have been taken over by Mark "Three Steaks" Wheeler.
It is my goal to help you, the reader/'netsurfer, to understand how I make my beer so that you can learn something about the beer-making process, or at least become totally confused.
