Do you have a lot of text clippings (all of those addresses, phone numbers, URLs or e-mail you have been saving) or short
text documents that you store together in a folder or two, or three or four? Are these files taking up valuable disk
space? Are you tired of opening them up one by one to find that address you KNOW you saved? Want to queue them all into
one document that you can easily search without taking up so much of your valuable hard drive space?
TEXTqueue can help. By dragging a group of files or whole folders onto the TEXTqueue icon, you can reduce
the multitudes of clippings into just a few files. TEXTqueue copies several short text files or clippings into one
larger (less than 32K) file, including header information for each clipping, that can then be opened by any word processor
(or in TEXTqueue) for viewing.
TEXTqueue requires System 7.x and the Apple Event Manager to install Apple Events.
TEXTsplitter 1.2
Do you download large text files from the Internet? Are you tired of having to use a overloaded, sluggish word processor
to open them up? Do you long to use a simple word processor such as SimpleText© or TEXTbook to quickly view the
files?
TEXTsplitter can help. TEXTsplitter is a simple utility that takes large text files (greater than 32K) and
splits them into several smaller files of approximately equal size. TEXTsplitter is useful for breaking up large
text files so that they can be read and edited with applications like SimpleText© or TEXTbook 1.6.
