Hmmm . . . today's discussion is about "nothing", absolutely nothing. We will explore how nothingness can lead to fullness of life. Nothingness or emptiness according to Dr. Sa'Ad does not represent emptiness, although logic would dictate that it does. And those who think & believe that it actually represents emptiness have failed to analyze and grasp the true meaning of the word. There is a delicate balance between emptiness & fullness, in fact they are inseparable and interchangeable. Let's take an example of a transparent empty box. Simple mind's simplistic model of emptiness would dictate that indeed the box is empty. But it is here that a true genius will stretch all limits of reason, will venture off into a new dimension, a dimension where the real & imaginary, the past & the future, the high & the low all cease being perceived as contradictions. And in this energized state of mind, where his thought is exerted in the absence of any conscious control of reason, he would give birth to a surreal ideology that emptiness is in fact symbolic of our infinite desires, passions, and wants. Knowing the fact that there is nothing in the box lets us imagine a multitude of wants that could occupy that space, but on the other hand if the box is filled even with the tiniest of objects then it is no longer empty and thus does not allow us to fill it with our infinite desires. It is our infinite wants that if fulfilled, lead to richness and fullness of life. And it is through this process that we are able to transform finite into infinite and emptiness into fullness. So without any further delay I proudly present to you "HARBINGER", newsletter about "nothingness" .
