Proving Your Case: Arguments don’t win grievances

Once you decide to file a grievance, the Union , “U” must prove that the Contract was violated.  The burden of proof is established by the evidence included to support your arguments.  You must research and fully develop your grievance with the correct and best evidence: The “best paper wins.”

You will learn what arguments to make; which witnesses to interview and what documents to request and include supporting your arguments.  We will cover those issues that generate the most frequently filed grievances as well as those that generate the most money:
