This page will provide you with the general descriptions for the items that each individual team crew is responsible for:
Set Up Crew:
· Work
from
· Set
up and make up the men’s and women’s pads.
· Set
up the tables with silverware, napkins, etc.
· Set
up the general items such as bringing out the file cabinet, set up the guest
sign-in table, post signs, set up the TV and VCR, set up the Laundry and Shower
Area sign up area, put the two cigarette butt containers outside the white room
entrance door and other miscellaneous odds and ends.
Hosting Crew:
· Work
from
· Handle
the guest sign-ins noting any early wake-ups and eventually checking the
sign-in sheets against the PADS “Do Not Admit” list.
· Oversee
the shower sign-up and laundry sign-up.
· Start
the guest laundry cleaning process.
· Assist
the Dinner Crew, including helping to clear the table area as our guests finish
their dinner.
· Interact
with the guests, sometimes helping them to obtain socks, t-shirts, underwear or
other items they may need.
· Oversee
hourly smoke breaks.
· Help
organize and maintain the Supply Shelf.
· Lock
the White Room entrance door at
· Communicate
information regarding any late arrivals, early wake ups or other necessary
information to the
Dinner Crew (some crew
members are dinner drop-off only):

Work from
· Work
together to plan and provide dinner.
· Possibly
provide prepared food and/or store bought items for dinner.
· Serve
dinner to our guests.
· Clear
the tables and clean the dishes, kitchen, etc.
· Plan
the dinner menu for your team’s next Friday night.
· Inform
the Team Captain if there are any items that the kitchen may be running low on.
· Monitor our guests.
· Continue
with the laundry cleaning process.
· Organize
and clean up the kitchen area as necessary.
· Prepare
lunches as necessary.
· Communicate
any necessary guest information to the
· Monitor our guests.
· Continue
with the laundry cleaning process.
· Wake
up any guests that requested early wake-up as needed and wake up the remaining
guests at
· Start
the pad, pillow, blanket and sheet collection process.
Breakfast Crew:
·
Work from
· Work
together to plan and provide breakfast.
· Serve
breakfast to our guests.
· Clear
the tables and clean the dishes and kitchen area, etc.
· Plan
the breakfast menu for your team’s next Saturday morning.
· Inform
the Team Captain if there are any items that the kitchen may be running low on.
Clean Up Crew:
· Work from
·
Clean the pads and
plastic covered pillow with disinfectant and put them away.
·
Clean and mop the
floors, including the kitchen.
·
Clean the bathrooms.
·
Make sure the
cigarette butt containers are brought in and the area around where the
containers were located is cleaned of any stray butts or minor trash.
·
Take down any
wall-mounted notices, put the TV and VCR away and leave the White Room in a
clean, organized fashion.
Laundry Crew:
· Pick up laundry baskets (usually two) by
·
Clean the
laundry. Fold and package one fitted
sheet and one top sheet into each pillowcase.
·
Return the laundry to
the White Room no later than
