Casework

If you live in the 7th District of Alabama and have a problem with a federal agency or department, Congressman Hilliard will help in rectifying the problem. Please provide as much information as possible about your situation. Be sure to include your name, address, home and work telephone numbers. Other identifying information such as claim numbers and Social Security numbers may also prove helpful. Your letter must to be dated with a handwritten signature and must include written permission to make inquiries on your behalf. Send this information to theWashington or local offices.

Flag Requests

Congressman Hilliard will assist Alabama's Ninth District residents in obtaining U.S. flags, whicar are available through the U.S. House of Representatives Stationery store. The available flags are:

To receive flags that have been flown over the United States Capitol, please allow five to six weeks for delivery. Those persons desiring flags may send a check to the Washington office made payable to "Honorable Earl Hilliard Office Supply Account" for the appropriate amount. Flag prices may change without notice.

Tour Tickets

Numerous Congressional tours around Washington D.C. are available. They include tours of the White House, Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. There are a limited amount of tours available and advance notice of three to six months is sometimes necessary -- particularly during the summer months and holiday seasons. Please note that should tickets be unavailable through our office, the same tours are available to the general public with no reservations. Please contact my office as soon as you know your travel plans.
