The first Southern National Congress:
The first Southern National Congress (SNC) will meet in Montgomery, Alabama March 4-5, 2005, to provide a renewed and authentic voice of Southern citizens effectively disenfranchised by today’s political system that does not serve the cause of liberty, justice, domestic tranquility, or national defence; but rather operates in the selfish interests of a Regime inimical to the South and her people. It is hoped the SNC will see fit to establish itself as a permanent forum for the expression of distinct Southern interests, Southern grievances, and Southern solutions by electing officers and setting their terms, appointing staff, designating committees, and regularizing its subsequent, periodic sessions or meetings. ATTACKING THE CONFEDERATE BATTLE FLAG:
An Example of Northern White Hypocrisy
by Joseph E. Fallon
Those Northern whites who love "the Stars and Stripes" but attack, or condone the attack, upon the Confederate Battle Flag are engaged in an act of self-righteous hypocrisy that will come back to haunt them. Continue Here

THE ABBEVILLE CONFERENCE: A SUCCESS AND A GIANT STEP FORWARD
Approximately 100 leaders of the heritage, political and media wings of the Southern Movement met on February 22 in Abbeville, South Carolina. The Conference, which was hosted by the League of The South, was called in order that a new spirit of enthusiasm, comity and common purpose might be engendered. I am very pleased to note that this was substantially achieved. Continue Here

Southern Unity
by Dr. J. Michael Hill
More than anything else, the current Southern movement needs true unity. I’m not speaking here of unanimity-we all will never agree on every single issue-but rather of a unity that allows us to work together despite our differing views. Nor do I mean sacrificing right and truth for the sake of a false unity. Some of the things that now divide the various organizations and individuals within the Southern movement ought not be swept under the rug in order that we might make a dubious claim that we are united in our cause. The League of the South announces unity amongst the various Southern political organizations:
No central structure, strong cooperation
ABBEVILLE, SC - Approximately 100 representatives of various Southern political organizations met in Abbeville, SC this past weekend. The theme was unity. Now, the various independent, state-level, Southern political activists are joining their talents, energy and resources toward the common theme of Southern nationalism in the 21st Century.

Picking the “Right” Alliances
by Clint E. Lacy
Recently I was asked if I wanted to participate in a protest rally that was being conducted by St. Louis, Missouri based Council of Conservative Citizens or (C of CC). “What kind of rally is it?” I asked.
I soon found out that the rally was a protest of a tour being conducted by a group of illegal aliens promoting amnesty for all illegal aliens. Continue here

Questions for Lincoln Defenders
by Michael T. Griffith
As I dialogue with people who defend Lincoln's course of action against the Southern states, I hear various reasons for this defense. These reasons include the following arguments:
* "Southern states seized federal installations, in some cases before the state had seceded."
* "The South fired the first shot by attacking Fort Sumter."
* "Secession was the same as rebellion because it would have broken up the Union."
* "The Southern states had no right to leave the Union."
In response to these and other arguments, I pose the following questions to those who defend what Lincoln and the North did to the South: Continue here

Defending Southern Heritage? Sober Up!
Many good people have been working in recent years to preserve public acknowledgment and celebration of our Confederate history. Our fights have been largely defensive reactions to the innumerable strokes of our enemies, and most of them have been defeats. Our enemies control most of the 'respectable' political, religious, educational, business and media institutions of American society, including nearly all 'Southern' institutions. Continue Here

A Quick Southron Lesson
by Jack Sanbower
If your southron you know this, but if you were educated in the public school system, and are not an avid history buff, here are some things I would like you to ponder, consider, and then adopt:
If southern heritage can not be represented by the confederate battle flag then no symbol in america is sacred. The Christian cross on a Church (insulting to Muslims and Jews?), the Stars and Stripes (insulting to Communists) the Star of David on a Synagogue (insulting to Muslims and fascists?) the Macdonalds sign over a hamburger shack (insulting to anti- meat vegans and anti-capitalists). The list is endless! Start with the Southern Cross battleflag and the floodgates are open. Continue Here

Combating federal tyranny
By Walter E. Williams
A couple of weeks ago, I reviewed Loyola University (Maryland) professor of economics Thomas DiLorenzo's "The Real Lincoln," a book that presented abundant evidence that most of the Founders took the right of state secession for granted. Despite that evidence, some readers concluded differently. Let's consider an alternative to secession in response to federal government encroachment on our liberties.

Are You Confederate But Don't Know It?
by Charley Reese Most of the political problems in this country won't be settled until more folks realize the South was right. I know that goes against the P.C. edicts, but the fact is that on the subject of the constitutional republic, the Confederate leaders were right and the Northern Republicans were wrong. Many people today even argue the Confederate positions without realizing it. Continue Here
