Capitol Bed and Breakfast is located in Washington, DC in the historic district of Capitol Hill, just six blocks from the Capitol. It is seven blocks from Union Station, location of Amtrak and MARC trains as well as having a D.C. Metro stop. The Greyhound and Trailways bus stations are about 1/2 mile from the B&B. The Smithsonian Museums, Library of Congress, and the Folger Shakespeare Library are all within walking distance.

How to get here: From Washington National Airport take the Metro to Union Station. We are within walking distance from both Union Station and the bus stations. Cab service is available.

Proprietors: Mary is a retired school- teacher. Her husband Carl, is a lawyer.

The B&B: The Green Room has a full bed, and has a sitting room attached. Occupants of the  Green Room use the hall bathroom. A small library is available for guests wishing to use their laptop or for private phone calls.

The Loft is a large, open room taking the entire top floor. It has a queen size bed and a queen size sofa bed. This room has a private bath. Breakfast is served in the dining room each morning. No smoking is allowed in the house.
