Kurt is a skater who thrills the audience with his awesome jumps and his fabulous footwork. Kurt's wonderful musical interpretation allows him to use every single note to perfection. Kurt has been called the Gene Kelly of the ice.

Kurt is known for his versatility. He can skate to dramatic pieces such as "Bring Him Home" from Les Miserables. He can also light up the crowd with his humorous and upbeat numbers such as "Brickhouse" and "Ragidon the Clown."

Kurt also has a romantic side. "Serenade to Sonia" is a program with a medley of Nat King Cole songs that Kurt dedicated to his wife. Speaking of romantic, Kurt proposed to his wife in front of an audience of thousands at a 1995 Stars on Ice Show in Toronto.
