Welcome! You're visitor

Mere Lewis is a high-traffic forum for the discussion of the life and works of C.S. Lewis. The mailing list is currently distributed to 34 countries, and is comprised of everyone from well known Lewis scholars to students and fans to Douglas Gresham, Lewis' stepson.

The list is moderated to focus closely on the ideas of Lewis, and generally avoids discussion of larger theological or denominational issues apart from Lewis, which are better suited to other forums, such as a newsgroup or private email. The mailings are free and are sent out through LISTSERV at least daily, as traffic dictates. Because of the traffic and majority preference, subscriptions are set by default to the digest version -- please check the LISTSERV commands reference if you wish to change this.

For more information on subscribing and unsubscribing, listserv commands, and list archives, please check the links below. Also, for more information on Lewis himself, please visit the wonderful web pages listed here.
