PASTOR & WIFE HONORED FOR 38 YEARS OF SERVICE
Paradise Missionary Baptist Church honored their Pastor and his wife in four services and a Banquet. Services were held Thursday, November 11 and Friday, November 12. Local churches were guest each evening. Saturday, November 13, the couple was honored at a banquet held in the fellowship hall of the church. Sunday two services were held, climaxing the celebration at 3:30 p.m. Rev. Climmie Hughes, Pastor of the Shiloah Baptist Church was the speaker for the afternoon.
Paradise membership said: "We the members of Paradise Missionary Baptist Church have set aside this time to extend to you, our pastor and wife, some meager words of appreciation for great services to us for 38 years.... We have received spiritual food from your ministry and have been blessed with your leadership.... May you live long to carry God's word and work to the needy, and give the world the benefit of your rich and glorious experience."
Michigan Bulletin extends its congratulations to Rev. Mrs. Herman for their 38 years of faithful services to Paradise Baptist Church as well as to the Lansing Community.
