The aim of the DUG is to be a catalyst for individual and organizational transformation in San Diego County. The underlying foundation for this transformation is Dr. Deming's system of profound knowledge.

A transformed individual will set an example, be a good listener but not compromise, continually teach, and help other people move to a new philosophy.
