Sunny 93.9 bills itself as the station to listen to during the work day.
Very appropriate since 93.9 plays many of the same songs as Muzak does and
Muzak is background to many retail and public spaces. One drawback to 93.9
though is that it still has those commercial blocks and it is not on
national satellite but you do get to hear the original instrumentation
and the vocals.
Soft rock can be taken as the direction that Rod Stewart
took in the latter part of his career. Too many of the long love ballads
make for a turn of the dial. To give credit where due, you can hear some
good songs on 93.9.
Your thoughts about Sunny 93.9 would be appreciated. Is it better
than Muzak? Do you have to hear it at work? Are you sick of those
tear-jerker love songs? Tell us at
Radio Reactive and your comments
can be posted here.
